For the second year in a row, Canfield High School Senior art student Stefania Marciniak has had her artwork accepted into the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition.
The Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition is dedicated to the educational and artistic advancement of our talented young people in the state of Ohio. The exhibition is open to all of Ohio's 1,112 high schools, both public and private, chartered by the State of Ohio Department of Education.
Stefania’s Drawing titled, “Jars of light” is one of 300 works selected from across the State of Ohio. Students placing in the top 300 are eligible to receive OYAE scholarship offers from participating schools of art nationwide.
Stefania will attend the Columbus College of Art and Design in the Fall where she plans to study interior design and architecture. She is the recipient of the CCAD Goodale Park Scholarship in the amount of $68,000.00.
The annual exhibition, held in the James A. Rhodes office tower in Columbus, has been indefinitely postponed.
