Halloween Festivities in the Canfield Schools

A “spooktacular” tradition continues in the Canfield Local School District! Halloween festivities begin this week at C.H. Campbell with their annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Students are encouraged to decorate, not carve, a pumpkin to help fill the halls with Halloween fun! The pumpkins are on display the week of October 23, 2017.

On October 31, 2017, the district will host many activities. C.H. Campbell and Hilltop Elementary Schools will have students in costume, classroom parties, and Halloween Parades at 2:00 p.m. Students in Canfield Village Middle School will be in costume and will be treated to a performance by the band. The main attraction is the annual Haunted House at Canfield High School that the art classes and art club create.  The Haunted House is open all day for CHS students to enjoy.

Students at the high school also dress in full costume and set up “stage areas” where they bring their characters to life with props and more from 7:15 a.m.-8:15 a.m.
