How to be kind in our daily lives is the message that Freddie Seitz will deliver to Canfield Village Middle School 8th grade students on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Seitz was born with Goldenhar Syndrome, a craniofacial syndrome that left him without a right ear, cheek or jawbone. His story is impactful for students thanks to the success of “Wonder,” a popular book by R.J. Palacio about a boy with a craniofacial syndrome and his experiences navigating middle school.
Seitz has overcome many obstacles in his life and just recently graduated from the University of Akron. He has started speaking at many local schools about acceptance.
