Canfield High School Internship Opportunity Helps Students Make Career Choices

Internship

Students in the 11th and 12th grade at Canfield High School can “try out” a career before entering college or the workforce. Students in the program will experience a 15-hour internship with a local business in the career field of their choosing. Jenna DeLisio, senior, is currently interning at Bliss 360 Marketing. During her internship, she participated in a podcast with Ray Mancini, Dalton Rosta, MMA fighter, Don Rittenour, YoFresh, and Mike Case, podcast co host.

Internship

Jill Mt. Castle, senior says,  “I knew I wanted to be a Special Education teacher but this opportunity opened my eyes to different areas of Special Education. I interned with a teacher and a behavior coach. I feel this internship set me apart from others when applying to college.” Mt. Castle is going to attend Kent State in the fall.
